About Dan
​I grew up on a building site with my father building our family homes in the weekends for as long as I can remember - when I was old enough to swing a hammer my building life began. After finishing school in 1999 I started a building apprenticeship in 2000 - this took me 4 years to complete. I continued working with the same building company doing mainly high end residential work until 2006 when I traveled overseas. I spent 4 1/2 years working as ships carpenter on the classic superyacht MY Talitha doing cabinetry and detail work to the interior and exterior of the boat. Upon returning to NZ in 2011 I worked for another building company doing some light commercial multi unit residential blocks. After a brief stint working as project manager for a housing company I decided it was time to start my own building company and so Accubuild Ltd was formed in Feb 2017.
About Hayley
I have 15+ years experience in the architectural & construction sector and really enjoy working alongside clients to bring their ideas into cohesive, functional and personalised designs. I can assist clients throughout the entire process from design inception, obtaining Building & Resource Consents and right through to the completion of construction.
Dan and I often work hand in hand where it is really effective to get a builder's input in the initial design & documentation stages to create efficient design solutions & details to create buildable buildings, which he then turns into a reality on the construction site.
