About Accubuild
Based in Clevedon, we service the greater Auckland region, as well as the Coromandel—particularly the upper eastern end of the peninsula.
We specialise in new builds, alterations and additions, re-clads, decks & fences, and full project management.
We can also offer architectural design services when required, provided by my wife Hayley, who works alongside us while balancing life with our four young daughters. From designing your dream bespoke home through to guiding you through the consent process, we can support you across the entire journey.
No job is too big or too small. We particularly enjoy a challenge, but are equally at home delivering straightforward, well-executed projects. We are well known for our attention to detail and commitment to quality in everything we do.

About Dan
I grew up on building sites, with my father building our family homes on weekends for as long as I can remember. As soon as I was old enough to swing a hammer, I was on the tools — and I’ve been building ever since.
After finishing school in 1999, I started my building apprenticeship in 2000, completing it over the next four years. From there, I stayed with the same building company through to 2006, working mainly on high-end residential homes and learning the importance of detail, finish, and doing things properly the first time.
In 2006, I headed overseas and spent four and a half years working as a ship’s carpenter on the classic superyacht MY Talitha. That experience took craftsmanship to another level — fine cabinetry, detailed joinery, and working in a world where precision really matters.
Back in New Zealand in 2011, I worked on light commercial and multi-unit residential projects, followed by a role as a project manager for a housing company. That gave me a broader understanding of how to coordinate projects from the bigger picture down to the finer details.
After that, it felt like the right time to go out on my own, and Accubuild Ltd was formed in February 2017.
For me, it’s always been about building things properly, with care and attention to detail, and taking pride in the end result.
About Hayley
I have 15+ years experience in the architectural & construction sector and really enjoy working alongside clients to bring their ideas into cohesive, functional and personalised designs. I can assist clients throughout the entire process from design inception, obtaining Building & Resource Consents and right through to the completion of construction.
Dan and I often work hand in hand where it is really effective to get a builder's input in the initial design & documentation stages to create efficient design solutions & details to create buildable buildings, which he then turns into a reality on the construction site.
